Founded in 1998, Shanghai Velvet lies in the center of Pujiang Intelligence Valley Business Park (PIV), crossroad of Linhai Road and East Jiangyue Road. The factory covers an area of 20 mu, including a professional clothing factory larger than 15,000 square meters. As a wholly owned company, Velvet has self-operation rights to import and export. The company specializes in developing and producing various children and babies' clothes, baby bare items and knitted fabric, and has grown into a research & development enterprise which integrated multiple functions of fabric knitting, embroidering, clothing production and distribution.

The factory is equipped with 500 imported sewing machines in different kinds, 100 fanay sewing machines, 2 automatic cutting machines and all patterns made by CAD system. With more than 500 employees, the annual output of Velvet has reached over 8 million pieces. Shanghai Velvet Textile Co., Ltd. was established in 2006 in order to guarantee the fabric quality, delivery and research. This company has imported over 30 circular knitting machines with total capacity of 1000 Tones of all Kind of Knitting fabric to meet our own cloth making reguirement, intergriatedd new fabric development.

To be able to adapt to market changes and improve productivity, Jiangsu Hongze Velvet Clothing Co., Ltd. was founded in 2006. This subordinate production base covers 60 mu, including a 8,000 square meters production area and a 2,000 square meters employees' living quarter where supports 350 employees. More than 300 production equipments is able to meet customer's demand with economical production cost.

In 2000, the company has got certified to ISO9001 management system standards, EU BSCI certificate, OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 textile security certificate, OCS100 ecological organic certificate and authorized by Euro Disney. Since its establishment, Velvet strives to be a strong and aspirant OEM enterprise, and to transform into an ODM enterprise. In 2012, our private brand -- Velvet Kidswear was registered successfully.
